American International College Student Rebecca Gray on Spring Break with a Political Purpose
During her Spring Break from American International College, Rebecca Gray from Hampstead, NH had the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. to hear members of the GOP primary speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Rebecca is a junior and economics/finance major at AIC, and President of POWER, a non-partisan political activism organization on campus, whose mission is to raise awareness regarding current issues and get students thinking about politics.

Brianna Bishop Nets Her 1,000th Career Point for AIC's Women's Basketball
Brianna Bishop (Suffield, CT), a senior and physical therapy major at American International College in Springfield, MA, recently scored her 1,000th career point as guard for the college's women's basketball team. She became the 20th player in program history to reach this milestone, doing so in 99 games played. Brianna was also recently named to the NE-10 All Tournament Team for the second time.

The IWLCA honored 178 student-athletes from 48 different institutions with inclusion in the 2015 IWLCA/Zag Sports Division II Academic Honor Roll. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

John Homer Miller Emerging Leadership Award

John Homer Miller served as Acting President of American International College from 1948-1950. Under his young, but visionary leadership, the College acquired the Reed Estate (now the Edgewood Gardens Campus) and provided the needed resources for organized and structured student activities and leadership development.

AIC adult students inducted into honor society
Balancing work, family and college can be a tough challenge, but for nine American International College students, the challenge has not been insurmountable. The students were recognized for their efforts recently as they were inducted into the Omicron Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society during a ceremony in the West Wing of the Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center.
