Sarah Carvalho, of Fall River, MA, majoring in nursing, was the sole recipient of the Ingenuity Award at American International College (AIC) in Springfield, MA during the College's Co-Curricular Awards Ceremony this spring. The Ingenuity Award is presented to students who have shown a high level of creativity, uniquness, and ingenuity in the design and delivery of programs.

Samira Abdul-Karim, of New Haven, CT, majoring in communications, was the sole recipient of the Henrietta Littlefield Award at American International College (AIC) in Springfield, MA during the College's Co-Curricular Awards Ceremony this spring. The Henrietta Littlefield Award is presented to a woman in the senior class who best demonstrates the leadership qualities and commitment to co-curricular student life as exemplified by Henrietta Littlefield, professor, and first Director of Student Activities at American International College.

Andrew Bernucca Receives the Chester S. McGown Award from American International College

Andrew Bernucca, of Berlin, CT, majoring in communications, received the Chester S. McGown Award at American International College (AIC) in Springfield, MA during the College's Co-Curricular Awards Ceremony this spring. The Chester S. McGown Award is presented to a senior who demonstrates consistency in leadership as provided by Chester S. McGown through his 35 year presidency at AIC, spanning a period of enormous change including two World Wars and the intervening Great Depression.

Rex's Best Award from American International College

The Rex's Best Award is presented to juniors and seniors who have demonstrated personal growth through sustained leadership in clubs, organizations, athletics and/or in the community while serving as positive role models both inside and outside of the classroom. Rex is the AIC mascot.
