The Henrietta Littlefield Award at American International College is given to woman in the senior class who best demonstrates the leadership qualities and commitment to co-curricular student life as exemplified by Henrietta Littlefield, professor, and first director of student activities at AIC.

The Chester S. McGown Award at American International College is given to a senior who demonstrates consistency in leadership as provided by Chester S. McGown through his 35-year presidency that spanned a period of enormous change through two World Wars and the intervening Great Depression.

The Harry S. Levitan Award at American International College (AIC) was established in 2002 by Dr. Joseph J. Levitan in memory of his brother Harry S. Levitan, class of 1943. Harry Levitan pursued a rewarding career in education, helping others to achieve their dreams. This award is presented to an AIC student who displays Harry Levitan's admirable personal qualities of courage, integrity, honor, respect, loyalty, duty, and service to AIC.

The Naomi White-Inniss Social Justice Award is presented to an American International College student who has triumphed over adversity, worked to bring the AIC community together, and exhibited the leadership qualities of Naomi White-Inniss, who served 40 years as director of mulitcultural affairs.

The Ingenuity Award is given to students who have shown a high level of creativity, uniqueness, and ingenuity in the design and delivery of programs.

The Student Life Recognition Award is given to students who have directly impacted the improvement of an existing program, the intitiation of a new program, or the forming of a new organization.

The John Homer Miller Emerging Leadership Award is given to first-year or sophomore students who have demonstrated leadership early in their college career. John Homer Miller served as Acting President of American International College from 1948-1950. Under his young, but visionary leadership, the College acquired Reed Estate (now Edgewood Gardens Campus) and provided the needed resources for organized and structured student activities and leadership development programs.

American International College announces eight recipients of the John Homer Miller Emerging Leadership Award. Recognizing first -year or sophomore students who have demonstrated leadership early in her/her college career, the award was given to students during the Co-Curricular Leadership and Involvement Awards Ceremony presented by the Division of Student Affairs on April 21.

Los Angeles native Salvador Harold, a communications major at American International College, was presented with the Student Life Recognition Award during the College's Division of Student Affairs' Co-curricular Leadership and Involvement Awards ceremony on April 21. The award is given to a student who has directly impacted the improvement of an existing program, the initiation of a new program, or the forming of a new organization.

Belchertown native Bridget Grim, a nursing major at American International College, was honored at the College's Division of Student Affairs' Co-curricular Leadership and Involvement awards ceremony on April 21. Bridget received the Ingenuity Award, which is presented to an AIC student who has shown a high level of creativity, uniqueness, and ingenuity in his or her design and delivery of programs. Bridget was also listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

Crystal Mallett, from Albany, NY, a sports and recreation management major at American International College, was honored at the College's Division of Student Affairs' Co-Curricular Leadership and Involvement awards ceremony on April 21. Crystal received the Naomi White-Inniss Award and was listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.

Austrian student Romina Bell, an English major at American International College (AIC), was given the Harry S. Levitan ('43) Award during the College's Division of Student Affairs' Co-curricular Leadership and Involvement Awards ceremony on April 21. The award is given to an AIC student who displays Harry's admirable qualities of courage, integrity, honor, respect, loyalty, duty, and service to AIC.

Grace Belt, from Seekonk, MA, a sociology major at American International College, was given the Henrietta Littlefield Award during the College's Division of Student Affairs' Co-curricular Leadership and Involvement Awards ceremony on April 21. The award recognizes a woman in the senior class who best demonstrates the leadership qualities and commitment to co-curricular student life as exemplified by Henrietta Littlefield, a professor and the first Director of Student Activities at American International College.

Brian Lizotte, from Charlton, MA, a management major at American International College, was given the Distinguished Service Award during the College's Division of Student Affairs' Co-curricular Leadership and Involvement Awards ceremony on April 21. The award is given to a student, not necessarily in a leadership position, who has demonstrated loyalty and commitment to the enhancement of student life.
