American International College

Five American International College (AIC) students have been recognized for their academic achievement on the national level with their induction into the Alpha Phi Sigma Alpha Phi Sigma; Alpha Delta chapter Criminal Justice Honor Society. Alpha Phi Sigma recognizes the academic excellence of students of Criminal Justice. It is the only Criminal Justice Honor Society, is a certified member of the Association of College Honor Societies, and is affiliated with the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.

Freshman forward Ali Taleb of the American International College (AIC) men's soccer team earned Northeast-10 Rookie of the Year honors, headlining a quartet of players recognized by the conference office for their performances in the 2023 season, the league announced on Tuesday, November 7. Taleb additionally earned Third-Team All-Conference, alongside graduate forward Manuel Schwarz and graduate defender Hallvard Boehn, and All-Rookie, alongside freshman midfielder Thom Hulshof.

Victoria DallaCosta, of Sandwich, MA, received the Outstanding Achievement in Occupational Therapy Award during the American International College (AIC) Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Outstanding Achievement in Occupational Therapy Award is presented to a student who achieves excellence in the field of occupational therapy. Victoria is majoring in occupational science.

Ashley Barile, of Vernon, CT, received the Academic Achievement in the Undergraduate Physical Therapy Program Award during the Academic Awards ceremony at American International College (AIC) this spring. Shawn McBride, of Tofino, British Columbia, received the Award for Distinguished Senior Students in Sports and Recreation Management during the American International College (AIC) Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Award for Distinguished Senior Students in Sports and Recreation Management is presented to a senior student who goes above and beyond expectations, achieving excellence in the sports and recreation management program. Shawn, who majored in sports and recreation management, graduated in May.

The Award for Distinguished Senior Students in Sports and Recreation Management is presented to a senior student who goes above and beyond expectations, achieving excellence in the sports and recreation management program. Terrell, who majored in sports and recreation management, graduated in May.

Taeha Woodard, of Bloomfield, CT, received the Robert Bohlke Award during the American International College (AIC) Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Robert Bohlke Award is presented to a student who has the highest grade point average in the field of sociology.
