Women's rugby athlete Bridget Kahele, of Aldie, VA, received the Lt. Alvin J. Carocari Scholarship Award from American International College (AIC) during the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Lt. Alvin J. Carocari Scholarship Award is presented to the male and female student-athletes who have made outstanding contributions to intercollegiate athletics at AIC.

Jihad Khabir, of Suitland, MD, received the F.J. Maloney Award from American International College (AIC) during the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The F.J. Maloney Award is presented to the most outstanding male and female athletes for four years at AIC.

Dolores Kopren, of Novi Sad, Serbia, received a Student-Athlete of the Year Award at American International College (AIC) at the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female student athlete for each class year that best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete. Dolores, an international business major, received the Third Year Female Student-Athlete of the Year Award.

Dana Bramble, of East Hartford, CT, received a Student-Athlete of the Year Award at American International College (AIC) at the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female student athlete for each class year that best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete. Dana, a chemistry major, received the Fourth Year Female Student-Athlete of the Year Award.

Matthew Jones, of Palm Bay, FL, received a Student-Athlete of the Year Award at American International College (AIC) at the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female student athlete for each class year that best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete. Matthew, a communications major, received the Fourth Year Male Student-Athlete of the Year Award.

Bryant Christian, of Moorehead, MN, received the Sydney Trager Award for academic achievement in accounting during the Academic Awards ceremony this spring at American International College.

Jason Coscio, of Hopewell Junction, NY, received the Yellow Jacket of the Year award at American International College's (AIC) Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Yellow Jacket of the Year is presented to the student-athlete who best exemplifies AIC athletics in character, talent, and spirit. Jason, a business administration major, is a member of the baseball team.

Ivan Chepyegon, of Kapsabet, Kenya, was a recipient of the Milton J. Piepul Merit Medal at American International College's (AIC) Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Milton J. Piepul Merit Medal is given to a senior who combines excellence on the field with excellence in the classroom, including a 3.5 GPA or higher.

The Robert Burke Athletic Director's award recognizes community service and outstanding perfomance or competitive improvement over an athletic career. Bryant, a member of the men's ice hockey team, is an accounting major.

Martin Mellberg, of Stockholm, Sweden, was recognized by the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society at American International College (AIC) for being one of three students with the highest academic achievement after three semesters during the Academic Awards ceremony this spring.

Francisco Fernandes-Neto, of Somerville, MA, was a recipient of the Milton J. Piepul Merit Medal at American International College's (AIC) Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Milton J. Piepul Merit Medal is given to a senior who combines excellence on the field with excellence in the classroom including maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Leakey Kipkosgei, of Nabori, Kenya, received the President's Cup from American International College (AIC) during the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The President's Cup is awarded to the student-athlete who has made a major contribution to the AIC athletic program during the academic year with outstanding ability, character, and sportsmanship.

American International College (AIC) student-athlete Joseph Pepe, of Selden, has signed with the Valley Blue Sox. The Valley Blue Sox is part of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), which showcases high level baseball players at the college level. While the path to the majors is challenging, a percentage of players in the NECBL move on to the Big Leagues following graduation. The NECBL is one of the premier summer collegiate baseball leagues in the country. The League not only provides student-athletes opportunities to pursue their major league dreams, it provides fun and affordable family entertainment while team members serve as role models for youth in the surrounding communities. Joseph is a Sports Management major at AIC.

Robert, a member of the football team, is a criminal justice major.

The Outstanding Achievement in Biology is presented to the student in each class year who has demonstrated excellence in the subject area. Olivia is a senior majoring in biology at AIC.

CJ Almaraz, of Camarillo, CA, was recognized with the Robert J. Sartwell Memorial Award during American International College's (AIC) Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Robert J. Sartwell Memorial Award is given in recognition of scholarship and achievement in business studies. CJ, who majored in management at AIC, graduated in May.

The Wall Street Journal Award is given in recognition of scholarship and achievement in business studies. Matthew is a general business major at AIC.

Jannah Esa, of Springfield, MA, received the Organic Chemistry Award during the Academic Awards ceremony this spring at American International College (AIC). The Organic Chemistry Award is presented to the student who demonstrates excellence in the subject. Jannah is a biochemistry major at AIC.

The Outstanding Academic Performance by a Junior Award is presented for excellence in the study of International Business. Dolores is majoring in international business at AIC.

Samira Abdul-Karim, of Springfield, MA, received the Outstanding Achievement in Journalism Award during American International College's (AIC) Academic Awards ceremony this spring. The Outstanding Achievement in Journalism Award is presented to the student who has demonstrated excellence in this area of the communications major at AIC.
