The Wall Street Journal Award is given in recognition of scholarship and achievement in business studies.

The Robert J. Sartwell Memorial Award is given in recognition of scholarship and achievement in business studies.

The Outstanding Achievement in General Chemistry is presented to the American International College student who excels in this area of study.

The Outstanding Achievement in Biology Award is presented to the American International College student in each class year who excels in the subject.

The Alumni Memorial Award is presented to a male and female student-ahtlete for scholarship and achievement in athletics.

The Sydney Trager Award is presented to those students who excel in accounting.

The Harry S. Levitan Award is presented to an AIC student who displays alumnus Harry Levitan's admirable personal qualities of courage, integrity, honor, respect, loyalty, duty, and service to American International College. Who's Who is awarded to juniors or seniors who have demonstrated personal growth through sustained leadership in clubs, organizations, athletics and/or in the community while serving as a positive role model both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Naomi White-Inniss Award is presented to a student who has triumphed over adversity, worked to bring the AIC community together, and exhibited the leadership qualities of Naomi White-Inniss, who served 40 years as Director of Multicultural Affairs. The Henrietta Littlefield Award honors a woman in the senior class who best demonstrates the leadership qualities and commitment to cocurricular student life as exemplified by Henrietta Littlefield, professor, and first Director of Student Activities at American International College. Who's Who is presented to juniors or seniors who have demonstrated personal growth through sustained leadership in clubs, organizations, athletics and/or in the community while serving as a positive role model in and out of the classroom.

Volunteer of the Year Award honors a student who has worked in a volunteer capacity in a consistent and selfless manner. Who's Who Among American Universities and Colleges is awarded to juniors or seniors who have demonstrated personal growth through sustained leadership in clubs, organizations, athletics and/or in the community while serving as a positive role model both inside and outside of the classroom.

The Ingenuity Award is presented to a student who has shown a high level of creativity, uniqueness, and ingenuity in his or her design and delivery of programs. The Distinguished Service Award honors a student, not necessarily in a leadership position, who has demonstrated loyalty and commitment to the enhancement of student life.

The John Homer Miller Award is presented to a first-year or sophomore student who has demonstrated leadership early in his or her college career. John Homer Miller served as Acting President of American International College from 1948-1950. John Homer Miller served as Acting President of American International College from 1948-1950. Under his young, but visionary leadership, the College acquired the Reed Estate (now the Edgewood Gardens Campus) and provided the needed resources for organized and structured student activities and leadership development.

More than 70 students received awards at the Co-Curricular Awards night program, as students, parents, faculty and administrators gathered to honor the student leaders. Brian O'Shaughnessey, vice president for student affairs, said the ceremony is special to the students because it recognizes their involvement in campus life not only by faculty and administrators, but by their peers, as well. Campus involvement is a very important part of the college experience," O'Shaughnessey told the audience, "and we are very proud of these students who were able to balance school work with clubs and other activities. They have made the AIC campus a better place," he said.

SPRINGFIELD, MASS.--After spending five years in the classroom and in clinical settings, Occupational Therapy students at American International College in Springfield, Mass., have finished their journey and were recently recognized at the annual Pinning Ceremony.
