The Robert Burke Athletic Director's Award recognizes community service and outstanding performance or competitive improvement over an athletic career.

The Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female individual of each class year who best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete.

The Yellow Jacket of the Year award is presented to the American International College (AIC) student-athlete who best exemplifies AIC athletics in character, talent, and spirit.

The Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female student of each class year that best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete.

The American International College Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female student of each class year who best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete.

The Milton J. Piepul Merit Medal is given to a senior who combines excellence on the field with excellence in the classroom, including a 3.5 GPA or higher.

American International College sophomore Mitchell Byrne (Dublin, Ireland) was selected to the Northeast-10 Men's Track and Field Academic All-Conference team announced by the league office on April 6. The 2015 NE-10 Cross Country Sport Excellence Award winner has acquired a cumulative grade point average of 3.83 in business. Byrne helped lead AIC to consecutive conference crowns with a third place finish in the mile run (4:18.07). He set a new personal best in the mile at the Boston University Last Chance meet with a time in 4:10.23. Byrne was a part of the school record holding distance medley relay team that went 9:47.22 at the New England Championships. He was tabbed a four-time US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East All-Region recipient in the mile, 3k, 5k and DMR.

American International College sophomore Dana Bramble, from East Hartford, CT, was named to the Northeast-10 Women's Track & Field Academic All-Conference Team.

Brianna Bishop, from Suffield CT and a senior majoring in physical therapy at American International College, was honored with the Northeast-10 Sport Excellence Award for women's basketball.

Dana Bramble of East Hartford, CT was named the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East Region Women's Field Athlete of the Year. Dana is a sophomore and chemistry major at American International College. Just prior to this recognition, Dana came in first at the New England Championship Long Jump held at Boston University, leaping 5.85 meters (19 feet, 2.5 inches) on her first attempt for the win.

Brianna Bishop (Suffield, CT), a senior and physical therapy major at American International College in Springfield, MA, recently scored her 1,000th career point as guard for the college's women's basketball team. She became the 20th player in program history to reach this milestone, doing so in 99 games played. Brianna was also recently named to the NE-10 All Tournament Team for the second time.

The IWLCA honored 178 student-athletes from 48 different institutions with inclusion in the 2015 IWLCA/Zag Sports Division II Academic Honor Roll. All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

A young but confident American International College (AIC) Varsity Women's Rugby team shook off an opening loss in the USA Rugby Division I College National Championship and beat West Chester University to claim third place.

The students were inducted into the 3.0 Club during a ceremony in the Griswold Theatre. The 3.0 club honors student-athletes who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better after at least one year of enrollment at American International College.
