AIC Baseball's Anthony Clark Joins the Westfield Starfires

Having just completed his sophomore year, Anthony Clark has joined the Westfield Starfires who play in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). Anthony, of Westfield, MA, is a member of the American International College baseball team. The Westfield Starfires play their home games at Bullens Field in Westfield. Teams in the FCBL play a 56-game schedule.

AIC Baseball's Mason St. Pierre Joins the Westfield Starfires

Having just completed his freshman year, Mason St. Pierre has joined the Westfield Starfires who play in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). Mason, of Westfield, MA, is a member of the American International College baseball team. The Westfield Starfires play their home games at Bullens Field in Westfield. Teams in the FCBL play a 56-game schedule.

AIC Men's Track and Field Student-Athlete Chad Miller Receives All-American Honors

Chad Miller, of Spanish Town, Jamaica, a junior with the American International College (AIC) men's track and field team, finished in sixth place at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on Saturday, May 25, 2019, while also receiving All-American status. Chad finished in sixth place in the 400-meter hurdles finals with a time of 54.63 seconds. With his sixth-place finish, he earned All-American honors.

AIC Women's Track and Field Student Athlete Dahsia Middlebrooks Receives All-American Honors

Dahsia Middlebrooks, of New Haven, CT, a junior with the American International College (AIC) women's track and field team, became the first women's outdoor track and field jumper to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Dahsia's distance of 12.70 meters is a personal best. After finishing 22nd last season, she jumped up 16 spots and earned All-American honors. She is also the first women's outdoor track and field athlete to win All-American honors in a jumping event.

AIC Women's Track and Field Student Athlete Yasmine Graziani Sets Program Record

Yasmine Graziani, of Bezons, France, a freshman with the American International College (AIC) women's track and field team, set a program record at the West Point Twilight meet on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Yasmine set a school record in the 800-meters with a time of 2:10.76, which is also a provisional time.

AIC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete Dana Watts Receives NE-10 Player of the Year

Dana Watts, of Rochester, NY, a senior with the American International College (AIC) women's basketball team, was named Player of the Year and also received First-Team honors. Dana, a two-time All-American honorable mention, earned her first NE10 Player of the Year after being named to the NE10 First-Team in each of the past two seasons.

Jana Potic Earns NE-10 Sports Excellence Award

Jana Potic, of New Belgrade, Serbia, received the Northeast-10 Sports Excellence Award for her efforts with the American International College volleyball team during the Fall 2019 season. Jana was the lone Yellow Jacket to win the honor, the first for the volleyball program and eighth in American International College history. The awards were announced on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Anniinah Sankoh of Helsinki, Finland, a redshirt freshman for the American International College women's soccer team, was named to the 2018 All- New England First Team as a forward. The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the All-New England teams for Division II on Thursday, December 6. Anniinah started in all 19 games for the Yellow Jackets. She also led the team in goals (8) and tied the team lead in points (20).

Federica Frew of Melbourne, Australia, a senior for the American International College women's soccer team, was named to the 2018 All-New England second team as a midfielder. The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the All-New England teams for Division II on Thursday, December 6. Federica was honored with All-New England Second Team. She also led the team in assists (6) and tied the team lead in points (20).

AIC Women's Soccer Florina Ravundra Receives All-New England Second Team Honors

Florina Ravundra, of Hawthorne, CA, a freshman for the American International College women's soccer team, was named to the 2018 All- New England Second Team as a defender. The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the All-New England teams for Division II on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Florina started in all 19 games. She also logged in the most minutes on the team with 1,762 minutes on the pitch.

Men's wrestling athlete, Baltazar "Jojo" Gonzalez, of Willimantic, CT, dominated the mat, leading the American International College wrestling team to a seventh-place finish and earning Most Outstanding Wrestler honors at the University of Southern Maine's Ted Reese Invitational on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

AIC Field Hockey's Chelsea Davis Receives NE-10 Second-Team Honors

Chelsea Davis of Boonton, NJ, a junior for the American International College field hockey team, was named to the 2018 Notheast-10 All-Conference Second Team as a defender. The conference office announced the team on Wednesday, November 13. Chelsea led the Yellow Jackets with six goals and three assists for 15 points, and was the highest-scoring back in the conference. She also recorded a conference-best 11 defensive saves, tying her own school record from last season and in the process breaking the NCAA Division II career record for defensive saves. She was twice named Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week and also earned an NFHCA Defensive Player of the Week nod. The selection is Chelsea's second all-conference selection, having been named to the NE10 All-Rookie team in 2016.

Jenny Holmquist Named a Team IMPACT Fellow

Jenny Holmquist, of Gray, ME, has been named a Team IMPACT Fellow for the 2018-19 season. Jenny, who plays for the American International College (AIC) women's field hockey team, is one of 20 student-athletes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region selected to participate in the program. Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit organization that connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with local college athletic teams.

Matthew, a health science major, received the Second Year Male Student-Athlete of the Year Award.
