American International College

Having just completed his sophomore year, Anthony Clark has joined the Westfield Starfires who play in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). Anthony, of Westfield, MA, is a member of the American International College baseball team. The Westfield Starfires play their home games at Bullens Field in Westfield. Teams in the FCBL play a 56-game schedule.

Chad Miller, of Spanish Town, Jamaica, a junior with the American International College (AIC) men's track and field team, finished in sixth place at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on Saturday, May 25, 2019, while also receiving All-American status. Chad finished in sixth place in the 400-meter hurdles finals with a time of 54.63 seconds. With his sixth-place finish, he earned All-American honors.

Dahsia Middlebrooks, of New Haven, CT, a junior with the American International College (AIC) women's track and field team, became the first women's outdoor track and field jumper to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Dahsia's distance of 12.70 meters is a personal best. After finishing 22nd last season, she jumped up 16 spots and earned All-American honors. She is also the first women's outdoor track and field athlete to win All-American honors in a jumping event.

Yasmine Graziani, of Bezons, France, a freshman with the American International College (AIC) women's track and field team, set a program record at the West Point Twilight meet on Thursday, May 9, 2019. Yasmine set a school record in the 800-meters with a time of 2:10.76, which is also a provisional time.

Dana Watts, of Rochester, NY, a senior with the American International College (AIC) women's basketball team, was named Player of the Year and also received First-Team honors. Dana, a two-time All-American honorable mention, earned her first NE10 Player of the Year after being named to the NE10 First-Team in each of the past two seasons.

Alyssa Guyon, of Ludlow, MA, a junior with the American International College (AIC) women's basketball team, was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team.

Ethan Teixeira, of Millbury, MA, a freshman on the American International College (AIC) basebal team, has joined the Worcester Bravehearts of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England.

Alyssa Guyon, of Ludlow, MA, a senior for the American International College (AIC) women's basketball team, joined the 1,000 point club against a win over Southern Connecticut in a Northeast-10 Conference matchup on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Jana Potic, of New Belgrade, Serbia, received the Northeast-10 Sports Excellence Award for her efforts with the American International College volleyball team during the Fall 2019 season. Jana was the lone Yellow Jacket to win the honor, the first for the volleyball program and eighth in American International College history. The awards were announced on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Chandler Cotton Jr., of Landover, MD, a senior with the American International College (AIC) rugby team, was named to the Liberty Conference All-Conference First Team.

Nicalus Franklyn, of Staten Island, NJ, a junior with the American International College (AIC) rugby team, was named to the Liberty Conference All-Conference First Team.

Rady Rojas-Portilla of Cienfuegos, Cuba, a freshman for the American International College (AIC) football team, was named to the 2018 Northeast-10 All-Conference Defensive Third Team.

Tommy Clark, of Olympia, WA, a junior on the American International College (AIC) rugby team, was named to the Liberty Conference All-Conference First Team, while additionally being named the conference's most valuable player.

David Tobe of Elizabeth, NJ, a redshirt sophomore for the American International College (AIC) football team, was named to the 2018 Northeast-10 All-Conference Defensive Second Team.

Anniinah Sankoh of Helsinki, Finland, a redshirt freshman for the American International College women's soccer team, was named to the 2018 All- New England First Team as a forward. The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the All-New England teams for Division II on Thursday, December 6. Anniinah started in all 19 games for the Yellow Jackets. She also led the team in goals (8) and tied the team lead in points (20).

Lennox Green Jr. of Stoughton, MA, a redshirt senior for the American International College (AIC) football team, as named to the 2018 Northeast-10 All-Conference Offensive Third Team.

Cyriacus Ibezim of Union, NJ, a junior for the American International College (AIC) football team, was named to the 2018 Northeast-10 All-Conference Defensive Second Team.

Samad Davila of New Brunswick, NJ, a redshirt junior for the American International College (AIC) football team, was named to the 2018 Northeast-10 All-Conference Offensive Third Team.

Federica Frew of Melbourne, Australia, a senior for the American International College women's soccer team, was named to the 2018 All-New England second team as a midfielder. The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the All-New England teams for Division II on Thursday, December 6. Federica was honored with All-New England Second Team. She also led the team in assists (6) and tied the team lead in points (20).

Florina Ravundra, of Hawthorne, CA, a freshman for the American International College women's soccer team, was named to the 2018 All- New England Second Team as a defender. The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association announced the All-New England teams for Division II on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Florina started in all 19 games. She also logged in the most minutes on the team with 1,762 minutes on the pitch.

Men's wrestling athlete, Baltazar "Jojo" Gonzalez, of Willimantic, CT, dominated the mat, leading the American International College wrestling team to a seventh-place finish and earning Most Outstanding Wrestler honors at the University of Southern Maine's Ted Reese Invitational on Saturday, December 1, 2018.

Chelsea Davis of Boonton, NJ, a junior for the American International College field hockey team, was named to the 2018 Notheast-10 All-Conference Second Team as a defender. The conference office announced the team on Wednesday, November 13. Chelsea led the Yellow Jackets with six goals and three assists for 15 points, and was the highest-scoring back in the conference. She also recorded a conference-best 11 defensive saves, tying her own school record from last season and in the process breaking the NCAA Division II career record for defensive saves. She was twice named Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Week and also earned an NFHCA Defensive Player of the Week nod. The selection is Chelsea's second all-conference selection, having been named to the NE10 All-Rookie team in 2016.

Jenny Holmquist, of Gray, ME, has been named a Team IMPACT Fellow for the 2018-19 season. Jenny, who plays for the American International College (AIC) women's field hockey team, is one of 20 student-athletes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region selected to participate in the program. Team IMPACT is a national nonprofit organization that connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with local college athletic teams.

Women's rugby athlete Kayla Clark, of Olympia, WA, received the Lt. Alvin J. Carocari Scholarship Award from American International College (AIC) during the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Lt. Alvin J. Carocari Scholarship Award is presented to the male and female student-athletes who have made outstanding contributions to intercollegiate athletics at AIC.

Matthew Costanza, of Revere, MA, received a Student-Athlete of the Year Award at American International College (AIC) at the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Student-Athlete of the Year Award is presented to the male and female student athlete for each class year that best exemplifies a well-rounded student-athlete. Matthew, a health science major, received the Second Year Male Student-Athlete of the Year Award.
