Melika Jackson Receives Three Awards from American International College

Melika Jackson of Eugene, OR received three awards during American International College's Spring 2015 Cocurricular Awards ceremony. Melika was presented with the Naomi White-Inniss Award, presented to a student who has triumphed over adversity, worked to bring the American International College community together, and exhibited the leadership qualities of Naomi White-Inniss, who served 40 years as Director of Multicultural Affairs.

In addition, Melika was honored with the Henrietta Littlefield Award, honoring a woman in the senior class who best demonstrates the leadership qualities and commitment to cocurricular student life as exemplified by Henrietta Littlefield, professor, and first Director of Student Activities at American International College.

Melika was also recognized in Who's Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges, awarded to juniors or seniors who have demonstrated personal growth through sustained leadership in clubs, organizations, athletics and/or in the community while serving as a positive role model both inside and outside of the classroom. These students are nationally recognized in the annual publication of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
