Imani Stepney Receives Robert Burke Athletic Director's Award

Imani Stepney of Willingboro, NJ, received the Robert Burke Athletic Director's Award from American International College (AIC) at the College's Athletic Awards ceremony this spring. The Robert Burke Athletic Director's Award recognizes community service and outstanding performance or competitive improvement over an athletic career.

Imani was recognized for her growth as an athlete and as a person during her four year career at AIC. A success story, Imani improved with every season and during her senior season with the women's basketball team, she led 10 underclassmen to overachieve. As captain, she demonstrated her hard work and dedication to the program. Imani was named second team all Conference, averaging 12.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. As part of her impressive career, Imani won 80 games in four years for an average of 20 wins per season. Imani, a Dean's List student, graduated this spring with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
